I actually had two seperate internships, one was at the Salt lake county government office, where i worked briefly as an Intern and even got to meet mayor Ben Mcadams. However due to certain polocies i was no longer allowed to intern there. SO instead I chased another internship involving a government system, this time it was the Justice system, where I got to sit on a panel and hear the cases of young kids who found themselves in a spot of trouble through Peer court.

     Peer court is a judicial system employed by the city to try and cut down on the amount of kids headed to Juvenile court, which is often more about punishment than it is about restoration. It was the goal of Peer Court to change that, and instead encourage kids to improve themselves.
